When being alone, I would like to experience
the following feeling:
drops of morning dew remind me that the fresh air in the misty morning remains right here!
feel so curious about the diverse veins on the rock, and I will continue looking for next one!
Think about an unknown bug’s vitality and
what it is doing, when looking at it.
faint natural aroma floats in the air. I raise my head to look around and
intend to know which tree is the source of such aroma.
at the constantly-changing clouds on the blue sky, I am wondering what patterns
the clouds will become!
By observing such sights, I can feel everything’s
vitality and their different features each time. Feeling lonely and lonesome is
not necessary when I am solitary.
it rains, the windshield wipers of my car will brush constantly. Every time
when they brush, I will get a clear view in front of me. The raindrop stripes
flowing to the two sides of the windshield are different each time, as the rain
goes on heavily or lightly. I will continue to watch this, because I am curious
what kind of rain stripes will show up next time.
staying within a car or sitting beneath a tree, I can still feel the inseparable
existence of wind although I “can’t see” it. Wind can make us feel cool or

When being solitary, I enjoy listening to
the sound of raindrops, the sound of waves patting the rocks or the beach, the
sound of a river scouring river rocks, and the sound of the interaction between
wind and tree leaves. I can feel the conversations between different sounds and
my heart, by listening to the music of the Nature.
If we know how to play with ourselves, we will
experience the feeling that we are not alone when being in solitude. This
feeling enables us to have wholehearted, fulfilled, tranquil and carefree
satisfaction, as if we can engage in some hobbies for being content with ourselves
when being solitary, such as painting, carving, fishing, traveling, listening
to music, reading, gardening, going to visit the Nature, and practicing meditation.
should see by our eyes, listen by our ears, think by our brain, and feel by our
soul. With such satisfactory and joyful feeling, we will enjoy being solitary.
This is a kind of fun expressed naturally after we return to our inner parts. We
and our spirits will always be the most loyal friends to each other. Getting
along with the “self” is so natural and burden-free, without loneliness.
